Super Bowl X took place on January 18, 1976, in Miami, Florida at the Orange Bowl. This was the tenth championship game of the National Football League. Super Bowl X had the American Football Conference (AFC) Pittsburgh Steelers against the National Football Conference (NFC) Champion Dallas Cowboys.

In Super Bowl X, Pittsburgh (15-2) beat Dallas (12-5), 21-17. Super Bowl X featured the two most popular teams in the league at that time. Pittsburgh safety Glen Edwards halted Dallas’ Super Bowl X late rally with an end zone interception as the last few seconds ticked off the clock. Steelers receiver Lynn Swann caught four passes in Super Bowl X for a Super Bowl record 161 yards, including a 64-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter. Swann was named Super Bowl X MVP, a first for a receiver.
