In Super Bowl XXV, the Giants (16-3) defeated the Bills (15-4), 20-19. Super Bowl XXV had the smallest margin of victory in Super Bowl history. Super Bowl XXV was also the first Super Bowl involving two teams representing the same state. Giants’ running back Ottis Anderson was named Super Bowl XXV MVP, after he rushed 21 times for 102 yards and one touchdown. Super Bowl XXV was mostly remembered for Bills’ place kicker Scott Norwood’s last second field goal attempt that went wide right, loosing Super Bowl XXV for the Bills.
