Do the Golden Globe Awards have a regular host?
Of all the major Hollywood ceremonies, the Golden Globe Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards are the only award presentations that do not have a regular host, although there are presenters ever year that introduce the ceremonies at the beginning of the broadcast. The “Rat Pack” (Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Sammie Davis Jr.) started that trend at the 1958 Golden Globe Awards, when they invaded the main stage. Since then, stars have been present at the podium. Contact us today at On Point Events to witness the Golden Globes this year.
