Are the Teen Choice Awards only voted on by teens?
Voting for the Teen Choice Awards is restricted to teens. Teen Choice Award winners are presented with a unique trophy; a real, life-sized surfboard, specifically designed for that year. Seventeen Magazine handled the official balloting from 1999 until 2002. Teen People took over the balloting from 2003 to 2006. Currently, Verizon Wireless has the official balloting.
